Here at Gable L Ranch we have sold bulls that range from 3000-foot elevation to 10000-feet some of our customers “pap” test before running at high elevations to insure prevention of brisket, we personally feel although “pap” is the best tool available today, it soon won’t be as the genomic test is coming then we will know if the gene is carried by a particular animal and the invasive and expensive test won’t be necessary for people like us that genomic test extensively, All our animals are tattooed and freeze branded for easy identification.
